Joe co-founded Cannondale Capital Investors to focus on investing in small to medium sized private companies in the greater Charlotte area. Prior to starting Cannondale Capital Investors, Joe was the former Chairman and CEO of Time, Inc. where he led the business through its spin-off from Time-Warner and then as a stand-alone public company.
Prior to re-joining Time, Inc. Joe partnered with GTCR to invest in data driven businesses. Before his work with GTCR, Joe held several senior executive and board level positions both within Time-Warner and other publicly traded companies.
Joe holds an MBA from the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York and earned his B.A. from Manhattan College.
Joe has served on numerous company and non-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of the Advertising Education Foundation, is the Vice Chairman of the Lighthouse Guild of NY and is an Emeritus Director of the Ad Council.
