Investment Strategy

Our goal is to build a small diversified portfolio of lower middle market companies within the greater Charlotte area. We seek to partner with founders/owners and senior management of businesses who have created strong companies, but who, for personal, professional and financial reasons, have reached a stage in their business life cycle where they desire an opportunity to step away from the business or require help to take their businesses to the next level, while also addressing their lifestyle objectives.

Our strategy is to build on the inherent strengths of a company’s people, products/services and brands. We amplify these through investment, day-to-day operations and the pursuit of new opportunities with the goal of maximizing a company’s long-term value. We believe that great value can be created by combining a company’s core strengths with patient capital. Our focus is to improve a company's competitive position by increasing productivity and strengthening operations.
